Pretty, Pretty Please..

So I am not sure if anyone really reads this: either way that's not really why I choose to write. However, a lot has occurred since my last entry. Yet, you will not find me apologizing for the fact that I may not be a daily, or even weekly blogger, as much as I wish that were true perhaps eventually one day I will get there.

I now happily reside in Clarksville, TN - I made my decision to relocate so that I could be with my other half; after looking and quickly being offered not one, but two jobs in the area I uprooted, threw what I could fit (and boy was that a joyous experience - just ask mom) put the dog in the car and well, 8 hrs, 600+ miles with four stops (for the dog not me) that proved essentially useless except for occasional gas fill-ups (take a breath), later -- I arrived to my destination, my new home.

So what am I going to be doing, you ask? Well, I will be a site director for the Fun Company, a school aged before and after school care program run through the local YMCA here. I am so excited! I love kids, but know I can't ever be a teacher like my mom, so this is an opportunity to love on kids who need me and be a positive influence in their lives! I have a job description of course, but that's just a formality - and I won't say it's going to be an easy road, but I look forward to the work I'll be getting into and seeing where this road in a  new chapter of my life is going to lead me.

That's all for now - but here is some food for thought:

"Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure."
Napoleon Hill: Author, Think and Grow Rich.

Never give up. Thomas Edison was awarded nearly 1,400 separate and distinct patents throughout his accomplished life. But what you don’t hear about is the countless failures, miscues, and errors that took place before each one of his inventions. In your life, you may need to trudge through a few failures before you see the light at the end of the tunnel.
